Welcome to Mathober!
Mathober is a space for everyone to explore and express creativity. Take a prompt and use any medium to engage with the prompts in your own way. No rules, just have fun and discover. Some people have painted, coded, made cryptic crosswords, videos, poetry, and so much more.
This is a human endeavor, to dive in, to contemplate, to struggle, to create, and to grow.

How are the prompts generated? A list of math words sits in a numbers file. This list was pulled from Wikipedia, Mathworld, and other words requested to be added. A random number is drawn and then that word or phrase is considered. The prompts that make it in tend to not have peoples names, be super common, or repeated concepts. For now no code is used to generate the lists other than a csv, a random number call, and html. Should we draw from a jar next year?
